Dyutiman: The Literary Society of Babu Banarasi Das Northern India Institute of Technology celebrated the illustrious life and contributions of Rabindranath Tagore on his Jayanti. The event unfolded with a journey through Tagore’s remarkable life, followed by soulful renditions of his iconic songs and recitations of his timeless poetry.
Life Journey of Rabindranath Tagore:
The event commenced with a visual journey narrating the life of Rabindranath Tagore, highlighting his significant achievements and the impact he left on literature, music, and culture.
Musical Renditions:
Song: “Ekla Cholo” Renowned singers Mohd. Ayan and Shubhankar Singh mesmerized the audience with their rendition of Tagore’s timeless song “Ekla Cholo,” evoking the spirit of individualism and determination.
Song: “Chukar Mere Man Ko”Sahil Khan and Shubhankar presented a heartfelt performance of Tagore’s song “Chukar Mere Man Ko,” captivating the audience with its emotional depth and melody.
Poetry Recitations:
Recitation: Geetanjali by Shambhavi Rai. She took the stage to recite verses from Tagore’s masterpiece “Geetanjali,” weaving a tapestry of emotions and philosophical insights.
Recitation: Tribute to Tagore by Sanjana Keshari. She paid homage to Tagore’s immense contributions to our nation through a poignant poetry recitation, acknowledging his relentless efforts towards cultural and intellectual enrichment.
Recitation: Tribute by Sahil Khan. He concluded the poetry segment with a heartfelt tribute to Tagore, capturing the essence of his legacy and the enduring impact of his work on generations to come.
Professor Dr. VK Singh, the esteemed Director of BBDNIIT, graced the gathering with his august presence. In his address, he expressed his heartfelt congratulations to Team Dyutiman on the special occasion of the Rabindra Nath Tagore’s Jayanti and emphasized the importance of fostering creativity and innovation among students and lauded the efforts of the literary society in promoting literary excellence on campus.
