BBDNIIT SDG Committee – Aarohan Organizes Dental Checkup Camp at Mahamana Malviya Vidya Mandir Inter College

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Committee – Aarohan of Babu Banarasi Das Northern India Institute of Technology (BBDNIIT), Lucknow successfully organized a Dental Checkup Camp on Friday, July 03, 2026, at Mahamana Malviya Vidya Mandir Inter College, Vivek Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, in association with Babu Banarasi Das College of Dental Sciences, Lucknow.

The camp was organized with the objective of promoting oral health awareness, preventive dental care, and overall well-being among school students and staff. A team of experienced dental professionals conducted comprehensive dental examinations, provided personalized oral hygiene counseling, and educated participants on the importance of maintaining healthy dental habits. The initiative also emphasized the prevention of common oral diseases through regular dental checkups and proper oral hygiene practices.

The event reflects BBDNIIT’s commitment towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 – Good Health and Well-being, by extending quality healthcare awareness and community outreach beyond the campus. The collaborative effort reinforced the institution’s vision of fostering social responsibility, preventive healthcare, and community engagement through meaningful extension activities.

The management of Mahamana Malviya Vidya Mandir Inter College appreciated the initiative and expressed gratitude to the organizing institutions for conducting such a beneficial health awareness program. The camp concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and staff members.

Objective of the Camp

The primary objectives of the Dental Checkup Camp were:
