Role of LaTex in Scientific Writing

It is our immense pleasure to announce that the Department of Mathematics, BBDNIIT Lucknow is organizing an online Faculty Development Program from June 19 to June 21, 2020

LaTeX is a high-quality typesetting system,which includes features designed for the production of technical and scientific documentation and is considered as a standard for the communication and publication of scientific documents.  It also has a prominent role in the preparation and publication of books and articles.

The main aim of this FDP is to introduce the absolute beginners to LaTeX and learning the basic commands and to write documents in LaTeX .

The importance of the above has increased during the period of the pandemic as it is required for conducting classes, organize seminars/workshops online.
